Extraction refers to the process of removing beneficial compounds from raw materials (such as hemp) and creating concentrated oils. There are different methods for extracting cannabidiol (CBD) and omega-3, but many traditional techniques degrade and contaminate products. Our CBD comes from potent, whole-plant medicinal hemp that is tested before and after harvest for heavy metals, pesticides, and toxins. Once harvested, hemp is sent to a state-of-the-art extraction facility in Colorado Springs, CO.
Our extractor, Global Cannabinoids, uses chromatography to identify and remove chlorophyll and trace levels of THC. This leaves full spectrum non-psychoactive cannabinoid oil. The proprietary technique also preserves naturally occurring plant terpenes.

Fish oil is inherently challenging to extract and the process conventionally involves hydraulics, solvents, and heat. Mass quantities of fish are ground up, steamed, pressed, and squeezed for oil. This crude oil is sent through harsh solvent extraction. Heavy metals and other toxins (such as carcinogenic polychlorinated biphenyls) may end up in fish oil products. Overfishing and oceanic contamination are significant problems with a direct link to fish oil.
Bonavibe sources its omega-3 from algae, not fish, and uses environmentally-friendly water extraction. Water extraction avoids heat/pressure degradation and results in an exceptional concentration of 99% DHA triglycerides. It is a groundbreaking physical/mechanical process that uses less energy compared to other methods.
Our algae grow indoors in pure water.
